Delizioso o Disgustoso

You can go anywhere and find people that will tell Italian food is some of the best food in the world. Because of their great food, Italians have gained credibility when it comes to knowing what is good and what isn’t about food. So, with that being said, let’s see what they have to say about some of our of favorite foods here in America.

Up first, we have one of my favorite restaurants, Olive Garden.

Look I know it’s not really “authentic”, but what we aren’t gonna do is disrespect Olive Garden breadsticks… I’ll die for endless breadsticks at Olive Garden. If this is what Italy thinks about breadsticks, then I guess I’ll have to smuggle a bag of them into the country when I visit.

“It’s called like a Wiz Khalifa song.” I was definitely cracking up about that one. I was surprised that the ranch Pringles were liked by a few of them. I’m not even sure Americans like ranch Pringles.

Alright, I tried to keep calm, but Reese’s are where I draw the line. First off, let me just say this, if you read that last sentence and in your head, you pronounced it, “REE-SEES” instead of, “REES-IS”, you’re what’s wrong with this country at the moment. I don’t even know where that nonsensical debate started, but I’m ending it. Here’s a hint in case you forget, Reese’s rhymes with pieces, so it can’t be “REE-SEES” because “PEE-SEES” isn’t a word. Now back to Italians and their hate for Reese’s. Your dislike for Olive Garden is expected, it’s a fake version of the food you cook so well, so that’s understandable. We’re a bunch of unhealthy people, so not all our snacks will be appealing, but if you don’t like Reese’s, you need tastebud replacement surgery because Reese’s are the greatest candy on this earth. That combination of chocolate and peanut butter is like a team with Michael Jordan and Lebron James on the same team. I’m convinced they got paid to be a bunch of haters, no one can hate Reese’s, it’s borderline illegal. Do better, Italy.

All jokes aside, It’s always fun to know what other cultures think of the things you like. I’ll have to do a couple taste-tests of Italian foods soon. Thanks for reading, don’t forget to share and leave comments. Ciao! A Presto!
